Water Levels: The water level in the mainstem of the Chattahoochee is affected by 14 dams, primarily controlled by the Corps of Engineers. To find out about river gauge levels, visit this website and click on water levels: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil or http://ga.waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/rt/ for more real-time water levels.
